New Office, Same Drive: Moving Forward in Laddingford

Big changes are happening on the shop floor and behind the scenes here at Laddingford Engineering. We are thrilled to officially announce that we have moved into our brand-new office space!

As our structural steelwork, bespoke fabrication projects, and high-powered laser cutting operations have grown, we needed a workspace that could keep up with the pace. This move marks an exciting milestone for us, giving our team a dedicated, purpose-built environment to handle everything from initial CAD design and project management right through to client consultations. While the surroundings might be fresh and the paperwork finally organized, our core mission remains exactly the same: delivering top-tier metal fabrication, zero-tolerance precision, and reliable service right here in Kent.A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the transition happen. Pop the kettle on—we are ready for the next chapter!

Leveling Up: Our New Laser Welder Is Coming Soon

Big things are on the horizon here at the workshop. Hot on the heels of our continuous workshop upgrades, we are thrilled to announce that a brand-new fiber laser welder is officially on its way to Laddingford! While our 12kW fiber laser cutter has spent the last two years redefining how we handle heavy plate and high-speed profiling, this upcoming addition is set to revolutionize our assembly lines. Laser welding brings a whole new tier of precision to the shop floor, offering incredible welding speeds, minimal thermal distortion, and exceptionally clean seams—especially on thin gauges and tricky stainless or aluminum joints. What does this mean for your projects? It means faster turnaround times, dramatically reduced post-weld grinding and finishing work, and even higher-quality structural and bespoke fabrications produced entirely under one roof in Kent. The rigging and setup are already being planned, and we cannot wait to put it through its paces. Stay tuned for updates as the new machine lands and goes live on the floor!
